you drive around in a car with no plates whatsoever on it. Cops dont seem to care much either....haha

My work makes me test drive cars I look at. and occasiinally i cant find a dealer plate so i sometimes end up eith no plate going down the highway

Heh, I did that for a while in my MG, while I was waiting for the new plates to arrive. No rear window meant that I had nowhere to display my temporary permit (and if I had attached it to the windscreen, it would have covered half of it), so I just stuffed it in the door pocket and drove it anyway. I'm not sure if people were staring because of the lack of plates, or the fact that I was driving a beat-up MGA with no roof, missing most of its trim, with a hole in the exhaust, and a piece of 2x4 for a rear bumper. Still, got no attention from the fuzz the entire time.

Isn't that legal in some states for a short period? Seem to remember something about Steve Jobs buying a new car every 6 months so he'd never need plates.
